Well we hardly expect any less from her, right?
Katie Hopkins got the internet in a suitable frenzy after comparing the Oscar Pistorius trial to a soap opera today.
While the world waited to find out the sentencing of the paralympic athlete following the death of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, the famous loudmouth broke the tension with a joke tweet likening the trial to an episode of Eastenders.
She posted: “Just heard the Eastenders theme tune coming from Oscar Pistorius trial. Keeping the punters hanging. #OscarPistorius.”
Katie’s followers were quick to hit back in rage at her comments with one posting: “a woman is dead, you witch”.
Another tweeted: “have some respect u dog someone has lost there life god people like you are unbelievable” [sic].
However, the 39-year-old hit back, referencing the “witch” tag but lashing out at the South African justice system – after the athlete was cleared of murder.
She posted: “Yes a woman is dead. But celebrity seems to have dazzled justice, yet again.”
It’s just all run of the mill stuff for Hoppo who recently said she thought Great British Bake Off’s Paul Hollywood was ‘easy prey’ and that she could definitely steal him from his wife.
