Hold on to your hats and get ready for more controversy than ever, because Katie Hopkins has apparently landed her very own radio show on LBC.
Yep, the Celebrity Big Brother contestant and resident rent-a-gob has reportedly been snapped up by the station’s bosses in a bid to increase their audience.
We’re not sure if this is genius or a recipe for disaster, but we’re weirdly looking forward to it.
According to The Daily Star, bosses are impressed with the dummy shows she’s already hosted and are keen to offer her a series of one-off specials.
A source told them: “Katie was given training and the chance to show what she can do.
“She was tasked with dealing with dummy callers to prove she can hack live radio.
“If she proves popular with listeners, the plan is to give her a more regular slot. She is brilliant at getting the nation talking, which is what LBC is all about.”
Well, we can’t argue with that can we?
The 40-year-old joined Steve Allen on his breakfast show back in February and was apparently a big hit with listeners.
The source added: “She made the show even more popular that week, so it’s no surprise bosses want her on more often.”
Katie is yet to comment on her alleged new role, but if it’s true, her show will launch after the General Election next month.
We have a funny feeling *some* people will be tuning in just to see what controversial comment comes out of her mouth.
And you know what? We cannot WAIT. Bring it on, Hopkins.
