It was only a matter of time before she spoke out.
And although Katie Price has responded to the comments made by Kelly Brook that she is ‘brash and common,’ the model has showed a surprising amount of restraint in her remarks.
We know, SHOCKING!
Katie wrote in her Now magazine column: “Last week I was called ‘brash and common’. Apparently being a glamour model was the wrong job for me because I have no hips or curves.
“So says one one of my fellow Page 3 girls from back in the day. Yes, Kelly Brook has a book out and it suggests she’s been following my career closely.”
At this point, we expected Katie to rip into Kelly again (it’s not like she’s had a problem with it in the past), but alas, no.
She continued: “Being common, posh or whatever your background is shouldn’t stop you living your dream! I have no problem with Kelly.”
Who are you and what have you done with the Pricey?!
And to top it all off, Katie took on some advice from a rather unlikely source.
“As Taylor Swift sings, haters gonna hate… But I’m gonna shake it off.”
Further proof that Taylor Swift’s music has healing abilities.
In an extract from her autobiography ‘Close Up’ published last week, Kelly regaled her modeling days and how she never really got on with Katie.
She said: “She has a lovely figure but with no hips or curves, so while the rest of us were trying to tone it down, she was always trying to work it up.
“We were never mates. She obviously has a sweet side to her character but I felt as it, around me at least, she would be brash and common for the sake of it.”
OK ladies, you’ve both said your piece. Let this be the end of it, yeah?
