Katie Price Shares A Whole Load Of Baby Photos After Defending Bunny’s Unique Name

Baby photo alert!

We had to wait weeks and weeks before we were given a proper look at Katie Price’s newborn daughter’s face, with the former glamour model regularly teasing and tricking us with random photos whilst she was really holding out for an exclusive.

However, it looks as though now that glossy magazine shoot is out of the way and Katie has raked in some dolla she is sharing photos of Bunny like there’s no tomorrow.

Admittedly the little’un is adorable and we love cooing over the pics, but we can’t help but feel like she has turned into that annoying new parent Facebook friend that you eventually just hide from your timeline.

We get it Katie – your daughter is cute, and tiny, and a baby, and you are now free to share as many snaps as you like of your pride and joy.

Just don’t overdo it, yeah?

Although we do love the seriousness of the 36-year-old’s pout in this selfie which was captioned with ‘love Bunny cuddles’:

One for the mantelpiece we reckon.

As well as going on a photo sharing extravaganza, Katie has also taken the time out to have a bit of a moan at the people who have criticized her, erm, shall we say unique choice in name for her fifth child.

Writing in her Now magazine column she explained why she picked the name and, in true Pricey style, defiantly insists that she doesn’t care what people think, writing: “Soft, cute, cuddly, unique, but most of all fun.

“Some might say these words describe me but my new baby girl is all of these and reminds me of a Bunny!

“Kieran and I chose Bunny and Jett’s names together, just like Peter and I chose Junior and Princess’s names together, while Harvey is named after my granddad.

“Bunny is an old-fashioned name and I love it. Some may ridicule our choice and some will love it – I really don’t care to be honest.”

An old-fashioned name?

Our bad, we thought it was another name for a rabbit.

Katie has previously revealed that she chose the name Bunny from a shortlist including Lady, Disney, Precious, Bambi, and Duchess Kate.

So really, if you think about it,  it could have all been so much worse.

Shortly after Katie revealed her baby’s name, her ex-husband Peter Andre took to the airwaves to share that their daughter together, Princess Tiaamii, absolutely hates her name.

Good timing, Pete… Kinda coincidental really.

Speaking on Magic FM, 41-year-old Peter said: “Princess is telling me that she doesn’t want me to call her Princess and she doesn’t like the colour pink anymore, all of a sudden she wants everything blue.”

The apple has DEFINITELY fallen far from the Katie Price tree with this one!

Seven-year-old Princess got the first half of her name because she was the couple’s princess, pretty standard, but the Tiaamii is a combination of Peter’s mother’s name, Thea, and Katie’s mother’s name, Amy.

Erm, it’s definitely original…

Speaking to OK magazine at the time of his first daughter’s birth in 2007, Peter said: “Katie always loved the name Princess, but everyone thought it was a bit over the top.

“I loved it too but I wanted to name her over both our mums. Then I just woke up one morning and thought, ‘I know! We’ll just put them together! If people don’t like it it’s up to them.”

Hmm, looks like Katie isn’t entirely at fault in choosing her name then.

Peter has shown himself to be quite traditional when away from the Pricey with he and his fiancée Emily MacDonagh opting for the slightly more traditional Amelia for their first child together, who was born in January.

Whereas his ex-wife is quite clearly continuing her unique trend when it comes to naming her children.

And with Katie recently revealing that she wants to add at least two more to her five-strong brood, we can only wonder what one-of-a-kind names she is going to come up with next.
