They’ve both seen huge success after leaving good ol’ Blighty for TV careers across the pond.
But Kelly Brook reckons one of the reasons why James Corden is getting better reviews than her is because he’s a BLOKE.
Speaking to us at the launch of her being announced as the new Global Ambassador for Skechers, the 35-year-old former glamour model joked that while The Late, Late Show is getting better reviews – she’s getting more viewers.
“He’s getting better reviews than me but more people are watching my show than his!” Kelly told Yahoo Celebrity.
“I think that’s because he’s a man. I think us girls get a bad rap.”
And she also has high praise for the 36-year-old comic, telling us she hopes BOTH of their shows get renewed for a second season.
“I think he’s brilliant so I’m really happy for him. I think his show’s great and it’s a different kind of show [to mine] as well,” she said.
“I think we’ve found the audience there with our shows so I think we just need to keep that audience happy and hopefully get a second season.”
Kelly, who relocated to LA to star as Prudence in the NBC show ‘One Big Happy’, admitted it’s difficult to really develop a character in the first season.
“I think if we get a second season, we can really explore these people and do some really fun things.
“It’s hard, the first six episodes are hard in any show because you’ve got 22 minutes to establish every character and write the story.
“You’re ramming it down people’s throats so they understand what everyone is.
“We’ve got some really good episodes this season but I think if we get another season, we can really have fun.”
Sadly the show isn’t broadcast here in the UK so we can’t see Kelly’s performance, but she hopes the show is syndicated worldwide so we can all watch it!
“If it does well, it will syndicate all over the world at some point, so fingers crossed – that’s what we hope for,” she said.
