Her book is certainly going to be a no holds barred affair.
But Kelly Brook found herself in hot water with viewers of This Morning after laughing at snippets from her upcoming autobiography where she admits to punching two of the ex-partners Jason Statham and Danny Cipriani.
One viewer tweeted: “Disappointed with @itvthismorning for laughing along with Kelly Brook RE her hitting boyfriends in the face! Domestic violence isn’t funny!”
While another wrote: “So Kelly Brook laughs & admits to punching ex bf’s in the face. If a guy had admitted doing that to a women they’d be uproar! #ThisMorning”
“Kelly Brook and the hosts giggling about her punching her boyfriends in the face for talking to other women. Despicable. #thismorning,” wrote another angry viewer.
Defending her actions during the interview, Kelly said: “It’s true, I did both of those things. Listen, I’m not saying that I’m an angel and I’m not saying that things I’ve done are right. But yeah, I guess I get some of that fiery passion from my parents.
“I guess so. Not that I’m going to make a habit of doing that in the future – I’m just going to pick more wisely about the men I be with!”
She added: “But now I have so much distance from all that and I’m older, I’m wiser, and I’m able to make better choices… but I don’t know why I’ve had such volatile relationships that haven’t worked, but maybe they were never supposed to work – everything is for a reason. I don’t have any regrets.”
Kelly has since seemingly hit back at criticsm, tweeting that she is ‘real woman’ and hasn’t ‘held back’.
Close Up: The Autobiography will be released on Thursday, September 11.
