Kerry Katona and George Kay are still in the honeymoon period after tying the knot in September last year, but the Atomic Kitten star has admitted that that doesn’t stop their arguments from being “explosive.”
Despite denying claims that their marriage is in any sort of crisis, Kerry did reveal that she felt “mortified” when photos of the couple having some sort of bust-up emerged recently.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the 34-year-old explained: “I was mortified when I saw those pictures. I know that people will be saying: ‘Look, they’re arguing – their marriage is in trouble’.”
But every couple argues at some point, right? Don’t you worry, Kerry.
The singer also revealed that their rows can get *pretty* heated, with money often being the root of their issues as they continue to try and “keep the work coming in.”
She admitted: “They can get really explosive. Generally it is just bickering but then there is a flashpoint and they explode.”
Talking about money, she said: “I’m bankrupt and I need to stay within certain limits and keep the work coming in. The kids need things.
“Some of my bills are that big, I’m going to start calling them William!”
Things only got more fiery when George stayed at a hotel after one feud.
Kerry added: “We just haven’t got that money to spend.“
The mum of five insists that the two are still very much in love though, and it sounds like their marriage is just fine. HURRAH.
