It did seem a little melodramatic.
And now Kerry Katona has put the record straight about claims that Katie Price nearly ruined her big day by refusing to be her bridesmaid.
It was reported by The Sun’s Dan Wooton earlier this week that Katie was less than enthused about the outfit she was asked to wear on Kerry’s big day, leading to the 36-year-old glamour model pulling out of the role altogether.
Except, according to Kerry, this never happened.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “@MissKatiePrice great work by a journo again way off mark, no stroppy, no fallout, no dramas me and @MissKatiePrice are laughing at his work.”
The paper had claimed that Katie was furious that the size 8 dress given to her to wear wouldn’t fit, just eight weeks after giving birth to her baby, Bunny.
A source said: “Katie was not even prepared to consider wearing a dress that didn’t fit her properly. As soon as she found out, she pulled out of her official role altogether.
“Kerry was disappointed, but wasn’t going to let it ruin her day.”
The ‘insider’ later added: “Katie made it clear she was unhappy at having to wear the playsuit.
“She had a face on her like a bulldog chewing a wasp. She sat through the ceremony in silence and left straight after the meal.”
Turns out it was a load of rubbish. We’re you enjoyed your drama free big day Kerry!
