We’re sending a load of get well soon wishes to Kerry Katona‘s husband George Kay, who has been taken to hospital ‘with signs of stroke’.
There’s been no updates on his condition, but the 34-year-old Atomic Kitten singer has tweeted to ask fans to pray for his speedy recovery.
Get well soon, George!
Tweeting to ask fans for their support, the mum-of-five wrote: “Asking you all to say a prayer for my @mrgsjkay been taken into hospital with signs of a stroke xxx.”
George, 35, was also able to tweet from the hospital, admitting: “Hoping its bells paisley (think that’s how you spell it) xxx. [sic]“
The NHS describes Bell’s palsy as ‘a condition that causes temporary weakness or paralysis of the muscles in one side of the face’.
Followers were quick to send their support, with one tweeting Kerry saying: “Thoughts are with you sweetheart massive hugs xx.”
Another wrote: “Thinking of you all Kerry, get well soon George xx,” while one follower said: “oh Kerry, I hope it’s nothing to worry about. You’ve had enough heartache in your life. Fingers crossed for you x.”
George recently spoke to new! magazine about life as a married man, revealing: “You don’t have a baby to make a relationship, it just makes a family complete. As for how many you have, it’s horses for courses and whether you can look after them. I’d have a 100. It’s just a case of what Kerry wants too.”
“That’s something we’d like to do more in the future. You can get caught up with all the pressures – five kids, not having a minute to yourselves.
“Sometimes you just need a cheeky night away, just to reconnect and to sort issues out.”
We’re wishing George all the best, and hoping that it’s nothing too serious.
