Kieron Richardson Marries Carl Hyland With His Hollyoaks Castmates Dressing Up In Bridal Gowns

We are suffering with a serious case of déjà vu after seeing these pics of a super-happy Kieron Richardson marrying love of his life Carl Hyland, just months after his onscreen character, Ste Hay, tied the knot in Hollyoaks.

Talk about life imitating art, eh? Although hopefully Kieron’s real life will be MUCH less dramatic than Ste’s….

The gorgeous actor was surrounded by a whole load of his fancy soap star pals as he and Carl said ‘I do’ during a lavish ceremony on Saturday, with the whopping TWELVE bridesmaids donning long, white gowns that made them look like they were the ones about to embark on a lifetime of happiness.

Among the bridesmaids were Kieran’s co-stars Jennifer Metcalfe and Gemma Merna, who posed for pictures alongside the other ten in front of the Buxton Dome in Devon, with all of the happy couple’s friends and family clearly struggling to hold back their massive grins.

N’aww, love’s young dream.

Stephanie Davis, who is bezzie mates with Kieran as well as an ‘Oaks co-star, took to her MazSight account to gush about how proud she was of her pal, writing: “May be feeling terrible and throat so sore.. Nothing is gonna stop me from watching my best friend walk down the isle to his love.

“Wow what a special day ️xx [sic]“

She then posted a hilarious throwback of herself and Kieran, with the touching message: “Sat here getting make up done welling up and laughing at the same time, today my best friend is getting married…

“When I look back over the years it’s hard to believe how grown up you are now getting married!!!

“Also no need for the spray tans before we went out without washing it off. What where we thinking. I am so proud of you words can’t even describe!

“I’ve watched you grown into a beautiful handsome young man who is true to himself! You and Karl are going to have the most perfect day.

“I love you kie, so proud. [sic]“

How’s that for #FriendshipGoals?

Some of the other stars of the Channel 4 soap who came along to party with the newlyweds included Jorgie Porter, Jasmine Franks, Bronagh Waugh, Jessica Ellis and Nikki Sanderson, with Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack also making an appearance – and all of them excitedly taking to their Twitter accounts to gush about the special day.

Lovebirds Kieron and Carl announced their engagement last summer after being together for a whopping seven years.

The popular actor came out back in 2010, when he revealed that he was gay, like his onscreen character.

Kieron explained at the time: “I am gay in real life and at twenty years old I kind of accepted it myself and now I can finally relate to my character Ste, that he is twenty and he’s going through things that I went through in my past.”
