However, new reports are now claiming that Kimmy herself is feeling pretty angry about being ‘cut out’ by her family.
After it was alleged that Kim was refusing to apologise for discussing Bruce’s ‘journey’ on entertainment Tonight, a source has claimed: “Kim and Bruce have always had a great relationship and she wanted to help him by speaking out, but now the rest of the family is furious with her.
“Kim is pretty much getting the silent treatment right now. And she definitely doesn’t like that. She feels like she was supportive and kind to Bruce but no one believes her or cares about her true intentions.”
Errr, not sure ANYONE would enjoy the silent treatment Mr/Mrs. Source, but okay.
They added that Kim is apparently ‘hurt’ as the family leave her out of discussions surrounding Bruce’s transition, which his mum confirmed last week.
The source revealed: “Kim is used to being involved in every aspect of the family and now that she’s been cut off she is lashing out, telling everyone how angry she is that no one is on her side.”
We’re not sure what to believe in all this, especially after Kim’s rep poo-pooed the original claims, but it’s probably some more publicity that Bruce didn’t want right now.
Kim originally spoke out for the first time during the interview to support her step-father on his ‘journey’, explaining that it’s his (and only his) story to tell when HE wants to.
She said: “I think Bruce is very happy, the happiest I’ve ever seen him. Of course we support Bruce 100 percent.
“He’s our dad so we support him no matter what, and I think when the time is right, he’ll talk about whatever he wants to talk about.
“I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way I think everyone goes through things in life and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.
“I guess I’ll kind of let everyone be curious and I feel like that’s his journey to talk about, I just think it’s his story to talk about, not really mine.”
In fact, the 65-year-old will reportedly do a ‘tell-all interview’ with ABC News journo, Diane Sawyer, in May.
A source has revealed that he chose Diane to conduct the interview because she is a vocal supporter of transgender rights.
We know we’ve said it before, but we really hope these family feud rumours are a load of nonsense because Bruce needs their collective support right now.
And whatever happens, we just hope that Bruce is happy.
