The Kardashians have remained completely tight-lipped about rumours surrounding Bruce Jenner’s supposedly ‘changing’ appearance, but now Kim Kardashian has spoken out for the very first time to defend Bruce and give him her support.
Despite all the rumours of arguments, bust-ups and daughters wanting to break free and do their own thang, it seems the Kardashians are still as close as ever, and it’s lovely to see.
Defending her stepfather on entertainment Tonight, Kim revealed that Bruce is on a “journey,” but it’s his (and only his) story to tell WHEN he’s ready.
The 34-year-old said: “I think Bruce is very happy, the happiest I’ve ever seen him. Of course we support Bruce 100 percent.”
She added: “He’s our dad so we support him no matter what, and I think when the time is right, he’ll talk about whatever he wants to talk about.
“I will say that I think Bruce should tell his story his way I think everyone goes through things in life and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he’ll share whenever the time is right.
“I guess I’ll kind of let everyone be curious and I feel like that’s his journey to talk about, I just think it’s his story to talk about, not really mine.”
His girls have been rallying round to support him during his particularly rough time, sharing photos of their family bonding session on MazSight, of course, after Bruce after *THAT* ‘Photoshopped’ magazine cover rearer its ugly and disrespectful head.
Bruce has ecently been hit with a tonne of transgender rumours after InTouch magazine decided it was a good idea to transpose his face onto Stephanie Beacham’s face to show what he’d look like as a woman.
The cover sparked outrage, with users of social media immediately jumping to Bruce’s defence and arguing that the magazine has no right to make decisions on his gender for him and describing the cover as “transphobic.”
Kris Jenner, noticeably absent from their bonding session, was also left fuming after seeing the photos.
Accordng to TMZ, she said: “It’s just mean to do whether or not it’s true.”
A source also told the site: “She has contempt for the magazine jumping to conclusions and then altering the image to fit its story.”
It’s great to see Bruce looking happy and to know that he’s got the wonderful support of his family to get him through all these rumours.
Let’s just hope no more nasty Photoshopped magazine covers crop up, and that Bruce is left to talk about his own journey, when, where, why and however he wants.
