Yes boys and girls, it may not seem like it sometimes, but our beloved Kimbo is actually a proper full-blown business woman (think of her as the Hilary Devey of Calabasas). But it might not have always been so – as the gaming app supremo herself confessed that she feared her career would be OVER after her divorce from Kris Humhphries.
No more Kardashians – it doesn’t really bear think thinking about, does it?
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and former spokesperson for Kardashian ‘coutoure’ lollipops was speaking to fancy-pants media website ‘The Drum’ and confessed that she thought the fall-out from the split would damage her entire family’s brand:
“At the time when I was going through the divorce, I did say to everyone, ‘You guys I think our careers are over. I hope you’ve saved your money’. I totally thought it was over.”
“I was being very paranoid. I just took some time off and the time was really good for me. I cancelled everything. I had everything that you could possibly imagine and I just cancelled it all and I took time for me.”
And whaddya know? After she ‘took time for me’ and stopped crying for ten minutes, the former face of Charmin public toilets ended up with about fifty million more endorsements, a multi-millionaire rap star husband, her own app (!) and a Vogue magazine cover.
Not such a bad career move in hindsight, but we’re TOTALLY sure she thought her career might be in jeopardy at the time.
