Unless you have been living under a rock for the past couple of days, you will probably be aware that on Sunday it was reported that Kristen Stewart’s relationship with her personal assistant, Alicia Cargile, had been confirmed by the actress’ mother.
However, Jules Stewart has now come forward to deny outing her daughter – and the journalist, Sharon Feinstein, who wrote the original piece for The Mirror is NOT happy.
Yikes, we smell some serious dramz coming our way.
Jules was quoted as saying some rather lovely things about Kristen’s relationship, including “What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy.
“She’s my daughter, I’m just her mum so she knows I would accept her choices.
“I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl.”
However, referencing the quotes printed in the tabloid, Jules has now told Us weekly: “I spoke to Sharon Feinstein about my film K-11 that has been put on display in the Hollywood Museum.
“It’s currently there under the LGBT banner on the third floor. She also asked me about my views on gay rights, which I was happy to express.
“Then we talked briefly about the fundraiser I am hosting for TheWolfConnection.org. Never ever did we discuss Kristen!”
She also adds that she had described Alicia as “a lovely girl” when asked by Sharon but vows that she never once said that the two were in a relationship.
Obvz a little bit peeved by it all, Sharon was quick to take to her Twitter account to defend her honour and promised to publicly share the audio recording of her interview with Jules in order to clear her name.
She wrote: “I intend to load my tape of the interview I did with Kristen Stewart’s mother Jules in two clips. Watch this space.
“When someone has spoken to a journalist in good faith it isn’t fair to blatantly deny it and call the journalist’s integrity into question.

“I will be uploading the tapes to fly the flag for journalists and their integrity everywhere, and stop this ubiquitous hatred and denigration of them and endless taking them to task.”
The footage is yet to be uploaded, but needless to say, we are looking forward to listening to it.
And whatever is going on with Kristen and Alicia, we just hope that everybody is happy.
