Kylie Minogue And Jason Donovan Are BACK For Neighbours 30th: The Stars Reunite – WATCH

After EastEnders celebrated its 30th anniversary by, er, revealing who murdered Lucy Beale, Neighbours have gone down a slightly lighter route by bringing back some of its best known cast members to reminisce about their time on the show in a Channel 5 documentary called ‘Neighbours 30th: the Stars Reunite’.

We’re talking KYLIE MINOGUE. We’re talking JASON DONOVAN. We’re talking GUY PEARCE.

AGH. Bring. It. On.

Considering Scott and Charlene’s Wedding will probably be in our hearts for eternity, we reckon we’re more excited about this than we were for Christmas.

Scott and Charlene were just meant to be.

The documentary will be hosted by Stefan Dennis (who plays Paul Robinson) and Tim Phillipps (Paul’s nephew Daniel), and will see everyone from Craig McLachlan (Henry Ramsay) to Mark Little (Joe Mangel) talking about the show’s rich nostalgia.

Even Ian Smith (Harold Bishop), Anne Charleston (Madge Bishop) and Delta Goodrem (Nina Tucker) are going to be there, so if that’s not cause for celebration, we don’t know what is.

Of course, Ramsay Street won’t just be full of street parties and festivities during the big week, with show chiefs planning TWO dramatic episodes which will air two weeks apart.

This means the anniversary can be celebrated on the same date in both the UK and Australia, who normally have a two-week gap between broadcasts.

Whether Kylie and Jason will actually appear in any of the anniversary episodes, besides the documentary, is yet to be seen.

As well as joining the cast in remembering the best bits of the Australia soap, we’re also going to be treated a repeat of Scott and Charlene’s infamous 1987 wedding.

YES PLEASE THANK YOU. Pass the popcorn/tissues/ice cream, please.

The documentary is set to air on Wednesday 18 March at 10pm, followed by a repeat of the 1987 episode in which Scott and Charlene got married at 11.30pm.

Put that in your diaries, pronto.
