As much as we love writing about the latest celebrity whereabouts, sometimes we just wish we could be like Lily Allen and take ourselves off to a soft play area for some downtime.
So jealous of you, babes.
Having been busy on the touring circuit recently, the 29-year-old was able to chillax with husband Sam Cooper and her little ones at Pirates Petes in Portsmouth – AKA Lily’s old stomping ground.
Sharing the photo above, Sam wrote: “Ball pond jokes #familysunday.”
Oh GOD, we’ve never wanted to be four years-old again so much.
Even though she had a show last night, Lily didn’t let it distract from her family day of fun.
She took to Twitter to ask her followers where she could nab the best Sunday roast dinner, naturally.
We feel you Lily.
She also asked her followers to respect the fact that her family would be joining her for the Sunday evening gig, writing: “Ps my kids are with me so please don’t scream or shout at me if they are around, thank you in advance.”
Cute. Although they were probably too exhausted from their big day of fun to really notice. We would be (but maybe that was the Slush Puppies wearing off when we were younger. Good times).
Recently, Lily’s been opening up about the tragic loss of her baby six months into her pregnancy, getting VERY teary as she discussed the sad and still raw loss on the Jonathan Ross Show.
She said: “I think it’s difficult for anybody regardless of what world they live in and actually what I took home from that experience was that even though it was the most unfortunate thing that can ever happen to a person, I was very fortunate in the sense that I have a loving partner to go home to and share that experience with.”
Lily insisted that she realised that she was in a lucky position, so wasn’t feeling sorry for herself any more.
She added: “There are many women… 17 stillbirths in the UK everyday… that go home and they don’t have that support, they have to go home and deal with that on their own so I am kind of in a bit of a – since that happened – in a count my blessings scenario rather than feeling sorry for myself.”
Still, we massively admire your bravery Lily, and we hope you can fulfill your hope to have more children.
And name them “Pizza,” apparently. EACH TO THEIR OWN.
Now, who do we have to call to get a jungle gym installed in our office?
