Lindsay Lohan Is Going To ‘Harass’ Tina Fey Into Writing A Mean Girls Sequel, Uhm – YAY?!

We knew that we loved Li-Lo for a reason.

Lindsay Lohan has revealed that it isn’t just us who desperately hope for a Mean Girls sequel, no that AWFUL TV movie doesn’t count, and she is actively working to make it happen.

YAY.

The absolute gem of a film turned ten years old this year, and frankly it hasn’t aged a day with the quotes and gifs from the movie still playing a key figure in what makes the world (okay, Tumblr) go round.

It’s genuinely just that good.

Now Lindsay has shared that she has suggested a sequel to Tina Fey, the film’s writer, and is now planning on ‘harassing’ her until she does it.

Lindsay told Time Out: “People really love the movie, how do you top that? I was with Tina Fey the other day and I said we should do another Mean Girls, like an older version where they’re all housewives and they’re cheating.

“That would be really funny, I’ll harass Tina to write it.”

Hmm, so the plot sounds a little bit depressing but to be quite honest we will TAKE IT.

Come on Tina, what’s holding you back?

Alongside Lindsay’s claim of being with the comedienne just the other day, the pair have proven to be on good terms with Linds previously sharing a photo of the two of them having a ‘Mean Girls reunion’.

The 28-year-old actress is also still on good terms with her co-star, Rachel McAdams, who played Queen Bee Regina George in the movie, with Rachel recently saying that she is in awe of Li-Lo’s talent and she had “great comedic timing”.

That’s three down and we’re sure the others will soon tag along.

Whilst Tina gets writing (hopefully), Lindsay is set to make her West End debut tonight in the theatrical adaptation of Speed-The-Plow at the Playhouse Theatre in London.

Last month Lindsay revealed that she was nervous about starring in a play, saying: “It’s hard work and very scary, but that was what I came prepared for.

“I’ve been acting since I was a child, but this is completely different and out of my comfort zone.”

We’re sure that you will be fab Linds, and as it’s a Wednesday you BETTER be wearing pink!
