Lorde is definitely in the running for Taylor Swift’s ultimate BFF, as the 18 year-old hitmaker came to her friend’s defence in the wake of Diplo’s ‘no booty’ diss.
Earlier Diplo had tweeted a link to a “Get Taylor Swift A Booty” petition along with some pretty awful jokes, and the Royals singer was in no mood to sit back and watch Tay-Tay get trashed by the DJ.
So she responded in the sassiest way possible.
Having clearly had enough of Diplo’s so-called humor, Lorde tweeted: “@diplo should we do something about your tiny p*nis while we’re at it hm.”
Well they say karma is a b*tch, and at last count the singers tweet had racked up over 32,000 re-tweets.
Yes, it appears non of us are too impressed with Diplo’s behaviours – especially the pint-sized Kiwi.
However, Lorde wasn’t the only one to join in the social-media fracas today, as Katy Perry seemed to follow in her rumoured beau’s steps and possibly took a swipe at Taylor too.
Proving that issues have NOT been resolved between the pop princesses, the Roar singer sent a cryptic but rather obvious tweet about ‘not trusting’ certain celebs.
She wrote: “Tbh I don’t really trust people that continually look down the barrel of a paparazzi lens.”
And while she could *technically* be talking about anyone, we can’t help but notice that Taylor DOES always seem to look down the lens of the cameras when she’s papped out and about.
Hmm… coincidence? WE THINK NOT.
And Katy’s Twitter followers seemed to think the same thing, immediately calling out the singer for slamming Taylor.
Some TSwizzle fans were so unimpressed that they decided to turn the tables on Katy, with one writing:
“tbh I don’t really trust people who sell sex to 10 year old girls and copy every single idea/image from a 40s comic character.”
OOH – BURN.
The feud first started earlier this year when three of Taylor’s tour dancers quit to go and work with Katy, and is apparently far from over.
And Katy’s latest tweet comes as her other half waded into the row, starting a (rather weird) campaign to ‘get Taylor Swift a booty.’
Eric Spivak, presumably a fan of the DJ, even had the CHEEK (hah) to start his own funding page to try and raise funds for the terrible, terrible cause.
Describing the campaign, Eric wrote: “Taylor Swift Still Needs Your Help! Any true supporter of TSWIFT would definitely not pass up this opportunity to improve her posterior! Spread The Word If You Believe In Magic!”
Yeah, we reckon that this feud is going to run and run. Just saying.
