Let’s be honest, yesterday afternoon was a seriously big deal for people who enjoy watching One Direction hunk Louis Tomlinson run around a field in tiny shorts for a good cause, so you can be forgiven for not noticing anything else that the 23-year-old did during the day.
Luckily, we are here to fill you in.
As if it wasn’t enough that the superstar had taken time out of his busy schedule to take part in a charity football match for his beloved Doncaster Rovers, Louis also made sure that he dropped into the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
*Pause for the inevitable ‘awws’*
Big-hearted Lou is a patron for his local charity, which offers loving care and support for poorly children who have a shortened life expectancy, and considering he was in the area he just couldn’t resist dropping by to brighten the little ones’ day alongside professional Doncaster Rover footballer, James Coppinger.
(Who, by the way, yesterday’s match was in honour of).
Taking to their Twitter page, Bluebell Wood shared a variety of heart-meltingly adorable photos of the singer with the kids, writing: “Amazing meet and greet session with @Louis_Tomlinson and @Coppinger26 – our children and families loved every minute.”

We bloomin’ bet they did, but we’ll also bet that Louis loved it even bloomin’ more.
The singer-turned-footballer-turned-music-industry-expert has made no secret of his love for the charity, and last December the One Direction fandom raised a whopping $25,000 for the cause in honour of the star’s birthday.
Speaking about his involvement with Bluebell Wood, Louis has previously said: “It was really important for me to support a local charity.
“Bluebell Wood is such a great cause and I’m very proud to be able to help them with raising funds.”
What. A. Babe.
As well as the cuteness of the Louis-with-children pics, we were also overcome with feels yesterday afternoon when we realised that Lou’s bandmate, Liam Payne, had dropped by to show his support for his pal, with the two posing for a pretty awesome selfie.
All in all, we’d say that the boys’ break from their On The Road Again tour couldn’t really be going any better, and needless to say we are ruddy loving it.
