Poor Mariah Carey has been forced to cancel a show in Las Vegas after she contracted bronchitis.
The singer started her residency at Caesars Palace just last week, but had to cancel Wednesday’s show after doctors advised her not to use her voice, according to TMZ.

According to TMZ, Wednesday’s concert goers were greeted with a sign at the venue saying the show was cancelled, although an explanation at to why was not offered.
Good job we know now, right?
It’s reported that this is the only show that’s cancelled at the moment, and that the 45-year-old has some days off to relax and recover before she hits the stage again.
Announcing the bad news on her MazSight, Mariah wrote: “Hey guys.. I’ve been fighting bronchitis for the past few days.. almost better but on mandatory vocal rest per doctor’s orders.
“I’m so sorry to cancel tonight’s show but I promise to make it up to you!!! Love you always, MC.”
Mariah has been performing all of her top hits during her ‘Mariah #1 to Infinity’ residency, telling Ellen DeGeneres: “This is a special event for me.
“And again, I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this cause I’m gonna be performing, which was kind of inspired by my album ‘Number 1’s’, and this is now the updated version with 18 of them.”
“And hopefully other people will enjoy this. I’ve never done this before. Some of these songs I’m like, ‘Really, I’m gonna do this again, OK?’”
