Michelle Keegan needn’t have worried about how her new BBC drama ‘Ordinary Lies’ would be received as Twitter was FULL of praise for her performance last night – including a gushing review from fiancé Mark Wright.
Yep, her hubby-to-be was quick to sing the former Corrie actress’ praises for her first role since leaving the soap, calling himself the ‘proudest husband to be alive’.
If you missed the 27-year-old’s new show, we’ll summarise: Michelle’s character Tracy agrees to be a drug mule in exchange for a two week holiday to the Dominican Republic, along with another girl.
However, things don’t go exactly to plan when one of them is waved onto the plane while the other is called into customs for an x-ray.
Michelle’s 28-year-old husband-to-be was bursting with pride after watching her awesome performance, quickly to Twitter to explain just how proud he was.
He wrote: “Love everyone saying how amazing @michkeegan is doing on ordinary lies !! Proudest husband to be alive !! The girl is born talent. #true.”
The former TOWIE star wasn’t the only one congratulating Mich though, with former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding also expressing her excitement: “So great seeing u on to pastures new tonight @michkeegan….ur a wee belter girl…so great catching up recently. Girls night out soon!!!”
