Michelle Keegan And Mark Wright’s Wedding Set To Be A ‘Downton Abbey’ Do

You’re going to need to pack not one, but TWO oversized, OTT hats if you grabbed an invite to Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright‘s Downton Abbey-esque Wedding this weekend.

Why? Because you’ll be taking part in a fancy photoshoot the morning after the night before, meaning you might also need to take an extra three packets of make-up wipes, in the hopes of rubbing the hungover look off your face.

Maybe pre-order an extra strong espresso in advance, too.

Yep, this weekend sees Markelle FI-NA-LLY tie the knot in a ceremony that’s been highly anticipated and highly talked about for MONTHS, and even though our invite sadly got lost somewhere in the postal system, we’re so excited we could probably cry.

And we probably will, sitting at home in a formal frock with a great big fascinator on our heads and a glass of cheap prosecco in our hand. Just a standard weekend, really.

A source has told The Mirror that guests have been asked to dress in their nicest Downton-style outfits, revealing: “The venue Mark and Michelle have chosen is incredibly posh – it’s like somewhere Lady Edith would get married.

“So guests attending the breakfast the following morning will still have to look swish.

“Obviously, the TOWIE girls have endless wardrobes but some of the other guests are stressing about needing two outfits.

“They know the wedding party will be full of glamorous people in expensive dresses so it has put
the pressure on some non-celeb guests. It’s all going to be part of the magazine coverage so everyone wants to look their best.

“Some are even planning to get hair and make-up done in the morning, too.”

Well, when in, er, Suffolk, and all that.

The 27-year-old Coronation Street actress will exchange vows and rings with the 28-year-old TOWIE lad in the Tudor Mansion Hengrave Hall in Suffolk this weekend.

Jessica and Natalya, her sisters, Nichola, her stepsister, and Becky Hatch, her BFF will be bridesmaids, alongside her cousins Gemma, Katy, and Lauren.

Phew.

Have a WONDERFUL wedding day guys. If you fancy sending us a last-minute invite, let’s just say we already have a hat picked out.
