Michelle Keegan Isn’t Worried About Mark Wright And The Strictly Come Dancing Romance Curse

It’s the curse that has struck a string of Strictly Come Dancing celebrity contestants in the past.

But Michelle Keegan doesn’t appear to be at all worried about her fiance Mark Wright straying from her throughout his time on the BBC One dance show.

Speaking to Yahoo Celebrity ahead of the first show on Sunday night, the Essex lad was asked whether Corrie star Mich was anxious about him falling for his female dance partner.

The cheeky chappy, who joins Caroline Flack, Pixie Lott, Simon Webbe and Frankie Bridge on the ballroom dancing show this year simply replied: “Not at all.”

Well we can hardly blame the Mancunian for having serious confidence – have you SEEN HER LATELY?

Mich and Mark are also two of the most loved-up celebrity couples we know, with the 27-year-old posting this cute anniversary message on Twitter on Thursday.

And by the sounds of things, Mich might even have SENT Mark onto the show herself – with the ex-TOWIE star revealing he is petrified about the first dance for their upcoming Wedding.

He added: “One of my biggest fears all my life is my first dance at a wedding. When you’ve absolutely no rhythm and you are with someone who has, you’re going to look an absolute doughnut.”

And besides falling over his two left feet, Mark’s biggest worry is being ribbed by his mates back in Essex – not the fearful Craig Revel-Horwood.

He told us: “I’m more worried about the reception from the lads back in Essex than the judges. I’m genuinely not expecting to be amazing because I’ve never done it before so if I get negative comments I’ll be expecting it but if I get positive comment I’ll be happy because it’ll be a shock.

“The Essex boys are going to rip me from the start anyway. That’s a given – they’ve already done it.”

So will he be embracing the glitter and sparkle of it all? He told us: “At first it was one of the thing is was dreading but since I’ve had it on I’ve added a bit more glitter here and there and now I’m getting into the swing of it.

“Michelle hasn’t seen any of it yet [the outfits] because I’ve only had a try on. I don’t know what she’ll make of it, I’ll think she’ll just say embrace it, enjoy it and probably laugh at me.”
