Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have kept pretty schtum on their marriage status so far, despite all the rumours circulating after she was spotted wearing a ring on THAT finger.
But, appearing on James Corden’s Late Late Show debut last night, Mila may have just finally, FINALLY confirmed the news we’d all been hoping for.
Sort of. Maybe. Possibly. Ahem.
According to The Mirror, 36-year-old James managed to gain some form of a confirmation after persuading Mila, 31, to show the audience her ring.
The paper reports that during the interview, James pressed Mila about her marriage status after the actress coyly replied “maybe” to his first question.
He apparently said: “Either you’re married or you’re not,” to which she replied: “Maybe.”
The show’s new host reportedly kept asking her about it, before ‘demanding’ that she showed off her ring finger, where, as we already knew, there sat a gorgeous ring.
James then announced to the audience: “They are married, look,” before checking that he hadn’t offended Mila during the ad break (although apparently she just laughed and said it was all fine, which is good).
Poor Mila apparently looked somewhat red-faced (understandable), but there’s no word on her denying it.
We don’t want to be too premature in our celebrations, but we SO hope this is something of a marriage confirmation, even if we would quite like to hear a great big ‘I DO’ from the happy couple themselves.
Or should that be ‘WE DID’?
As well as (sort of) confirming her marriage status, Mila also revealed that Ashton is an “amazing father,” that she was “thinking about baby number two,” and that she “loved being pregnant and really loves being a mummy.”
Last month, the 31-year-old kept tight-lipped as Ellen DeGeneres asked her about the beach photo the couple posted on Facebook, where they’d written: “Happy New Year, (heart symbol) the Kutchers” in the sand.
Ellen said: “It says, ‘The Kutchers’, so it sounds like you’re married.”
Not taking the bait, Mila simply replied: “I don’t know. We could just be a plural. My daughter [Wyatt Isabelle] has his last name legally.”
Ellen wasn’t quite done trying to get to the bottom of things though, asking: “Why would it be such a secret if you were married? Are you still trying to stay on the market for men? It’s a whole professional thing.”
Still, Mila wasn’t phased and showed her sense of humour by replying: “You got it figured out, Ellen.”
So sneaky, but we can totally understand why they’d like to keep SOME part of their lives secret.
Just let us know if we need to send you a congratulatons card, please.
