Nick Gordon’s full interview with TV psychologist, Dr. Phil McGraw, aired last night and revealed some harrowing details about the impact Bobbi Kristina Brown’s hospitalisation has had on his life.
Supported by his mother, Michelle, the 25-year-old opened up on the Dr. Phil Show, sharing that he has tried to kill himself twice since Bobbi was found unconscious in a bathtub back in January.
His mum admitted that her son just couldn’t bare to be away from the 22-year-old starlet, telling the Doc: “He has blamed himself for the condition she’s in. He has said to me many times that he is going to kill himself.
“He tried. He cannot bear not being with Krissy, by her side.”
Nick worried his followers last week when he tweeted ahead of Bobbi’s 22nd birthday: “I’m so hurt I wanna do myself in, I know I have to [stay] strong [sic]“.
He later added that he was watching the couple’s favourite film, The Hobbit, sharing a picture of his TV screen and writing: “I’m close to you baby.”
Following his interview with the distressed star, Dr. Phil insisted that he went straight to rehab, telling Nick’s mother: “Your son, left to his own devices, will be dead inside a week.”
Since recording the show, Nick has checked himself into a treatment facility, promising that he will be clean and sober, adding: “I’ll be a good person.”
Meanwhile, Bobbi’s aunt, Leolah Brown, has slammed Dr. Phil and Nick for conducting a televised interview whilst Bobbi shows no sign of improvement, remaining in a medically induced coma in hospital with her family at her side.
