Nicki Minaj seems to have started up some major beef with rival rapper Iggy Azeala during her acceptance speech at the BET awards.
The 31-year-old Super Bass star was collecting the ‘Best Female Rapper’ gong (for the fifth consecutive year in a row) when she seemed to imply that Iggy, 24, didn’t write her own rhymes.
She said: “My point is, what I want the world to know about is when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it.”
Nicki then quickly tried to backtrack by adding: “No, no, no…no shade,” after the audience started cheering.
Even though Nicki didn’t actually mention Iggy explicitly, earlier that evening she was seen dancing in a somewhat mocking fashion as the australian performed smash hit Fancy.
Take a look…
Play nice, ladies.
But it wasn’t just the ‘maybe she was maybe she wasn’t’ diss toward Iggy that caused eyebrows to raise during Nicki’s speech.

The star also revealed that she nearly died last week but decided against calling for an ambulance because she didn’t it to appear in the press.
She explained: “The other day, literally I didn’t tell anybody this, I really thought I was about to die.
“Like, I was saying my prayers to die.
“And I didn’t even want to call the ambulance because I thought, ‘Well if I call the ambulance, it’s going to be on TMZ.’
“I would rather sit there and die. And it made me realise I don’t care what anybody got to say. I’m going to do me.”
It’s always good to ‘do you,’ Nick – but not at the risk of your own life…
