Olly Murs and Leigh Francis have sent messages of support to Vicky Balch, who’s been fighting to save her right leg after being involved in last week’s horrific rollercoaster crash at Alton Towers.
Following in One Direction‘s good egg footsteps, the two celebs answered Vicky’s BFF’s campaign for messages to cheer her up after the incident, wishing her good luck for the operation.
The 20-year-old dancer was also sitting on the front row of The Smiler ride during the tragic crash last week, and ended up spending her birthday in hospital, having a 12-hour operation to save her right leg.
Vicky’s friend wrote: “We don’t know if it will ever work again or if she is going to lose it over the course of her rehabilitation. It was her birthday and she celebrated it in a 12 hour op to save her leg.
“Can you help me get Olly Murs to tweet her or video call her. She needs some light in her life to help her over come the sleepless nights. She had planned on seeing him on tour but has now no idea when she will be out of hospital.”
Being the lovely human being that he is, the 31-year-old tweeted Vicky to say: “Thinking of you darlin! So sorry to hear about your leg.. Good luck with the operation!! Stay strong babe x.”
Leigh, 42, also showed himself to be a wonderful man, tweeting: “get well soon! All the best x.”
