WE HAVEN’T BEEN THIS EXCITED SINCE WE HEARD THAT MEL B WAS JOINING CORRIE.
Olly Murs will be featuring in a special EastEnders scene for his one-hour ITV special, due to air next Friday (12th December).
‘A Night In With Olly Murs’ will see the popstar singing a whole load of his hit songs – both old and new – as well as featuring celeb guests and special sketches.
We have already ordered our Friday night takeaway ready for the big event.
And as if we couldn’t get even more excited by it all, it has now been confirmed that Olly will be featuring in our fave BBC soap alongside Alfie Moon, played by Shane Richie, where he finds himself mistaken for another singer.
Hmm, it’s not going to be Shane’s son Jake Roche of Rixton is it?
Speaking about his cameo appearance, Olly gushed: “I’ve watched the show since I can remember and my whole family are fans too.
“To get the chance to walk on to Albert Square was very surreal indeed.”
We just hope that Lucy Beale’s mystery killer doesn’t get to the 30-year-old before he leaves the set.
Might be best to stay away from Walford Common, Ols.
On top of performances and EastEnders galore, the former X Factor contestant will be embarking on a lip-syncing battle with comedian John Bishop, photo-bombing fans with Nicole Scherzinger, and tricking his old Xtra Factor co-host, Caroline Flack.
Talking about the entertainment extravaganza, Olly shared: “I am so excited about doing my first TV special, it’s going to be an amazing night.
“The show will be great fun, packed with off the wall comic segments, surprises and, of course, music.”
Needless to say, we can’t ruddy wait.
