We were all left a little bit shocked when some members of the One Direction fandom decided to boo Zayn Malik’s pretty face when it appeared on the big screens in a promotional video ahead of the band’s Cardiff gig last night.
We mean, one look at the brooding babe would turn anybody into mush, wouldn’t it?
But no-one was more stunned by it all than Zayn’s former 1D bandmates, who apparently didn’t even know the goss until they were told ahead of their performance at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball this afternoon.
Asked what they made of the negative reaction their former bandmate received from fans, Louis Tomlinson replied: “It’s the first we’ve heard of it.”
Liam Payne then interrupted, adding: “I don’t think that’s true, if I’m honest.”
We hate to break it to you, Liam, but there is actual video evidence of the incident.
The entire debacle saw One Direction fans turn on eachother, with the vast majority of fans slamming those who did boo the 22-year-old Bradford bad boy, calling them “disrespectful” and “immature”.
However, some people are still left fuming since Zayn turned his back on his four brothers back in March in order to skip off into the sunset with music producer, Naughty Boy.
To be honest, it’s a very confusing and complicated time for us all.
However, there is happy news from today, with Liam also taking the time to rubbish speculation that 1D are set to go on a year-long break in 2016, insisting: “I don’t know where that came from!”
Y’see? All’s well that ends well – we just hope that fans keep the dramz to a minimum at tonight’s Cardiff show.
