Yesterday morning we were all super excited when a gorgeous-sounding Liam Payne called into Capital FM to announce that One Direction would be performing at the radio station’s summertime ball on 6 June.
However, once the excitement died down, we found ourselves thinking: HANG ON A MINUTE, AREN’T 1D HEADLINING ANOTHER SHOW THAT DAY?
AS PART OF THEIR ON THE ROAD AGAIN TOUR?
IN. BLOOMIN’. CARDIFF?!
And a quick peruse of their official site told us that yes, our innate 1D knowledge isn’t letting us down, the now four-piece really are performing at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium on the very same day that they are playing London’s Wembley Stadium.
How? We have no idea, but fans are pretty up in arms about the fact that Zayn Malik quitting the band due to a mixture of stress, exhaustion, and, erm, Naughty Boy hasn’t taught the people who organise these things anything.
We mean, we can’t be too careful with our band members these days…
Since taking part on The X Factor way back in 2010, One Direction have quite literally been on one world tour after another and have so far amassed over 300 live shows, various TV and festival appearances, four studio albums, and two feature films to boot.
Basically, the fans are worried that the lads are being worked far too hard and it’s really not cool… Okay?
@onedirection just wondered how you guys are at the capital summer ball and Cardiff on the same date?
