Dakota Johnson chose an interesting moment snap at mum Melanie Griffiths – on the Oscars 2015 red carpet.
Both mum and daughter were being interviewed by ABC together when the 25-year-old was asked if the 57-year-old had watched her racy new film Fifty Shades Of Grey.
Turns out, she hadn’t, and Dakota wasn’t happy about it.
Melanie revealed: “I don’t really want to. It would really be strange,” with Dakota retorting: “I don’t think so, I think you could maybe one day.”
However, Melanie was adamant on her decision, saying: “She’s a really good actress I don’t need to see that to know how good she is.”
A clearly irked Dakota then snapped: “Alright! You don’t have to see it. Jesus Christ.
“I’m like, ‘you can see it’ and you’re like, ‘nah.’”
When reporter Lara Spencer tried to explain that her mum might be uncomfortable, Dakota responded: “Yeah, but I think it’s OK, it’s a movie. She knows that.”
Looks like Melanie has some awkward viewing to enjoy in the not so distant future if she wants to avoid another awkward red carpet incident.
