Oscars 2015: Oprah Winfrey Running Away From Lady Gaga On The Red Carpet Is The Best Vine Ever

While Naomi Watts was busy getting snubbed by Ryan Seacrest on the Oscars 2015 red carpet, Lady Gaga was busy getting snubbed by the Queen of life itself, Oprah Winfrey.

Yes, everybody. This did ACTUALLY happen and it’s hands down one of the best Vines from the whole entire night.

We can only assume Oprah has a fear of red washing up gloves.

The two started the night out well, with 28-year-old Gaga actually bowing down to Oprah before they shared a lovely hug.

Bowing down to Oprah should be the law really.

Anyway, things then took a turn for the more bizarre, unexpected and brilliant as the 61-year-old was caught literally running away from Gaga.

Running. Away. We’ll let that soak in a minute.

We’re not *entirely* sure what exactly was going on, but the viral clip is pretty mesmerising and we can only assume Oprah had some royal duties to attend to.

Also, kudos to her for running in that dress because that does *not* look easy.

Amazing work, Viners.

Luckily for Gaga, not everyone was busy running away from her and her strange red gloves.

Julie Andrews, another total Queen of life, gave the singer a big, emotional bear hug after her incredible ‘Sound of Music’ tribute.

As part of the tribute for the film’s 50th anniversary, Gaga pleased the audience and fans watching at home with traditional performances of ‘The Hills Are Alive’, ‘My Favourite Things’, ‘Climb Ev’ry mountain‘ and ‘Edelweiss’.

The legendary actress joined Lady Gaga onstage after her incredible performance, saying: “Dear Lady Gaga, thank you for that wonderful tribute. It really warmed my heart.

“It’s hard to believe that 50 years have gone by since that joyous film was released. I blinked and suddenly here I am!

“I think that I do speak for everyone connected to the movie when I say, we all really felt blessed to be a part of it. And as for me, well, how lucky can a girl get?”

Very, by the looks of things.

Oprah might have run away from her, but Lady Gaga did nab a hug from her AND Julie Andrews, so really, it was a pretty winning night for her.

Can we be your plus one next year, please? Thanks.
