Fifi Geldof has launched a sweary rant at critics of her sister Peaches – just hours after an inquest into her death.
The 31-year-old took to her MazSight page in a rage – posting a picture on the social media site that read: “Don’t keep calm and f*** this. F*** that. F*** you. F*** off.”
Underneath the snap she added the caption: “Sums it up nicely about how I’m feeling about the viciousness today…Maybe now she’ll be allowed to RIP.”
The eldest Geldof sister’s comments came after loud mouth Katie Hopkins made a jibe at Peaches Geldof on her Twitter page following yesterday’s inquest result, which revealed that she died of a heroin overdose – and that drugs were found in a box by her bed along with some sweets.
The Apprentice star tweeted: “Peaches’ fatal syringe was in a box by the bed – along with some sweets. She was taking care of her baby son after all.”
And Fifi – who posted a heartbreaking tribute to her younger sister after her death – couldn’t contain her emotions today as she lashed out on her MazSight.
One user of the site responded to Fifi’s sweary rant in defence of critics, posting: “Think people are more annoyed at how she portrayed her life for her kids but was selfish to use drugs in front of them. Selfish and sad. Poor boys.”
But Fifi angrily hit back saying: “You’ve no idea what you’re talking about quite frankly. Yet another who has bought into the bulls**t.
“I’d appreciate you getting the f*** off my page with stuff like that on today of all days.”
The user later deleted her comment after she faced a torrent of abuse from other posters.
It was ruled yesterday that Peaches’ death was caused by an overdose of the class A drug after five months of remaining clean.
Katie Hopkins – who had a spat with Peaches over parenting differences on This Morning – asked her followers if the levels of sympathy would be the same if it was her who overdosed in front of her child.
“Let’s turn the tables. It was me that took an overdose whilst caring for my 11 month old. Would I be a fallen angel too?,” she wrote.
Of course, Katie’s comments provoked an almost instant backlash.
“I agree that it was disgraceful parenting but bloody hell Katie, she has a family that’s mourning. Show a bit of class,” one user wrote.
However, in the week after Peaches’ death Katie WAS sympathetic, referring to the time they met on This Morning in November 2013 – when Peaches was in recovery from her addiction – and commenting how she ‘admired’ the former TV personality.
“Peaches and I met once, on a TV sofa in central London. We were strangers and remained adversaries,” she wrote, adding:
“She was tough enough not to seek approval from anyone. I admire that trait in others. Peaches didn’t need tweets from celebrities or strangers — she just needed a mother’s love.”
The pair’s initial meeting on This Morning wasn’t a particularly pleasant one, after both were invited on to discuss their differing opinions on attachment parenting.
The heated debate saw Peaches label Katie as “cold”, while Katie laid into the 25-year-old’s parenting skills.
