Adding to her fast growing roster of celebrity endorsement deals, Pixie Lott is set to play four intimate gigs at Pizza Express.
That’s right, the 24-year-old will be topping the bill at London’s The Strand branch of the popular chain next month.
Unfortunately for fans, they’ll have to dig deep (pan) to enjoy the experience – with tickets ranging between £37 – £99 – and that’s not including any pizza.
Ticketmaster, who are selling tickets to those who want a slice of the action, stipulates that patrons will have to pay extra for food and drink.
It reads: “A wide range of Pizza Express’ most popular dishes will be available to order as well as drinks and cocktails. Tickets do not include food or drink. Early booking is strongly recommended.”
The cost of the tickets has left fans baffled, with many being put off from going at all.
One wrote on her Facebook page: “Got excited then til I saw the price. Out of our price range but enjoy,” while another added: “Why so expensive?”
Twitter was less kind to the star, with one user writing: Pixie Lott doing intimate shows at “Pizza Express.” The joke writes itself…,” and another saying: “Pixie Lott is playing gigs at Pizza Express. How long til she’s doing deliveries for them?”
Over the past year, Pixie has capitalised on her heightened profile thanks to Strictly Come Dancing, endorsing mobile messenger Viber, Steffi dolls, Magnitone, Batiste dry shampoo, and our personal favourite, The Post Office.
Well if it brings in the dough, who are we to judge?
