Pregnant Frankie Bridge has openly spoken about how much she’s suffered with horrific morning sickness, but now The Saturdays singer has explained just crippling it was.
Luckily, she has now recovered from her illness and is able to enjoy being pregnant again. Phew!
Explaining exactly how she’s been feeling to OK! Magazine, Frankie said: “It has been quite different.
“I feel more hormonal compared with the first one. And I’ve had really bad skin and obviously I was really sick. But I do feel more relaxed about it.
“It [the sickness] kicked in when I was about seven weeks and that first bout of sickness was the worst. It’s probably the worst I’ve ever felt.
“Even to move my eyes made me feel sick. I somehow ended up lying on the floor with a bowl and I just couldn’t move.
“They wanted me to go to hospital at one point and I refused because there was no way I could get in a car, I couldn’t even get off the floor.”
Crikey, we didn’t realise it was *that* bad. Poor Frankie!
Frankie announced the exciting news that she’s pregnant with a second child at the beginning of the year, but was forced to cancel her appearance on the Strictly Come Dancing tour on medical advice.
The 26-year-old was suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, the same severe morning sickness that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has experienced.
Thankfully, with the help of some TLC from husband Wayne Bridge and their son (hopefully, anyway), Frankie is now well and can finally enjoy being pregnant with a little brother or sister for adorable little Parker.
She added: “With the first pregnancy we were obviously excited, but I feel like we’re almost a bit more excited this time because we haven’t got that fear.
“Wayne’s not sure about me having more than two, but I change my mind all the time. I’m only 26, I have a bit of time to decide.
“I thought I only wanted two, but now I’m a bit like, hmm! But let’s see how I feel!”
Oooh – exciting!
Frankie and Wayne’s second bubba is due in five months time and we cannot wait to meet him or her.
Fingers crossed the rest of the pregnancy goes smoothly and that the family have a wonderful year.
