And Prince William often gets presented with an amazing prop or two on his travels, whether he’s meeting monsters at Japanese TV stations or being given pink wellies.

As he celebrates his 33rd birthday today, we’re celebrating with Twitter pics starring his best props.

1. Prince William’s Penguin Prop

“The Duke of Cambridge visits one of the @GREATFestivals in Shanghai showcasing the #bestofBritish #RoyalVisitChina”

If ever there was a cracking Caption It competition, it’s this.

Wills looked totes intrigued by this penguin at a Great Festival during his trip to Shanghai in March 2015. Perhaps His Majesty is a big fan of ‘Pingu’ since becoming a dad.

2. Prince William’s Dragon Prop

“Lion dancers perform a Shishimai Ceremony at the Chime of Hope shopping centre in Onagawa earlier today #RoyalVisitJP”

He might be in line to be King one day, but that doesn’t mean Will is all seriousness.

HRH loves a laugh as much as us commoners, and was happy to let a group of kids dressed up as a dragon pretend to bite his head during his trip to Japan in March 2015. MEGALOLZ.

3. Prince William’s Samurai Prop

Wills had plenty of LOLZ during his trip to Japan.

He looked pretty amused when he was pictured in this stunning Samurai King outfit in February 2015, having witnessed the UK Ambassador dress up in traditional clothing just before.

4. Prince William’s Feather Hat Prop

“The Duke of Cambridge processing through the grounds of Windsor Castle in his Garter robes this afternoon #GarterDay”

Staying on the outfit props vibe, Wills seems to have plenty of opportunities to wear outlandish outfits.

Just check out the feather he wore in his hat for the Order of the Garter procession at Windsor Castle in June 2015. Seriously, that millinery accessory must add at least a foot to his height, right?

5. Prince William’s Pink Welly Prop

“Good to see you at the #AudiPoloChallenge at the weekend @Sentebale @cbukhelp @TheRugbyCharity”

Wills and Kate get sent all kinds of gifts for their offspring.

And the Prince looked tickled pink by this cute little welly boot for his daughter, Princess Charlotte that he was given at the Polo in June 2015.

Keep sharing Wills’ amazing encounters Kensington Royal, and we’ll keep LOLing along with him.
