Muse, Sam Smith, 5 Seconds Of Summer and a host of others will be joining Taylor Swift in Norwich as the full-line up for Radio One’s Big Weekend has been revealed.
The Matt Bellamy fronted band will headline main stage on May 23.
Other acts playing on the Saturday main stage include Florence + The Machine, Charli XCX, Ben Howard, David Guetta, Fall Out Boy, The Vaccines and 5 Seconds Of Summer.
Sunday 24 May will see Taylor Swift take to the main stage, along with Rita Ora, Olly Murs, Clean Bandit, George Ezra, and Imagine Dragons.
‘King’ hitmakers Years & Years, Bottlemen, and Catfish have also been announced as the first acts playing the In New Music We Trust stage, while Context will be playing on the BBC Introducing stage.
The free event, which has now allocated all of its tickets, will be broadcast on BBC Three, Radio One, and the Radio One’s Big Weekend website.
Taylor Swift, who was confirmed for the festival in January, previously spoke of her excitement to play to UK festival goers.
She said: “They are rowdy, insane, in the best way – there seems to be a lot of jumping, which I love.
“When I think of a UK crowd I think of a sea of people that is moving like an ocean – it’s the most beautiful site you could possibly witness and I can’t wait to come back.
“Everyone talks about the festivals in England being the best ones you can go to. I feel like I’ve been missing out – I’m really excited.”
Bring on the Big Weekend!
