Goodness, that up and coming star, Paul McCartney, is really doing well for himself. After Kanye West gave the Liverpudlian singer a chance on his latest single, Rihanna has enlisted the unknown’s guitar-playing skills for her newest track too.
Of course, we are joking… Apart from the collaboration, that part is real and we couldn’t be more excited by it.
Last night Rihanna announced her long-awaited return to music, with stripped back track ‘Four Five Seconds’ featuring the singer’s vocals whilst Kanye raps and Paul McCartney plays guitar in the background.

The iconic collaboration marks RiRi’s first new material in two years, proving that she has actually been working throughout her extended time off – not just sunning herself in gloriously tropical climates.
On the other hand, it looks as though Paul and Kanye have been working seriously hard of late, with the two previously joining forces for Kanye’s last single ‘Only One’, which he dedicated to his daughter, north West.
The song caused a whole load of controversy, as well as many, many lolz, upon release when Kanye’s fans took to Twitter to praise Yeezus for shining some light on ‘unknown artist’, Paul.
As soon as Kanye posted a link to the duet, many of his fans started asking him who this AMAZING new talent was, causing the rest of the world to shake their head in dismay.
One devoted Kanye fan wrote: “I don’t know who Paul McCartney is, but Kanye is going to give this man a career w/ this new song!!”
Another posted: “Kanye West really knows how to expose great new talent. Bet this Paul McCartney guy is gonna be HUGE after this.”
Still, we can’t deny that we are more than a little bit intrigued as to how Kanye and Paul’s close friendship came about.
How many more collabs do they have in the pipeline?! Because we’re already excited for all of them.
