Those are big boots (well literally tiny, but you know what we mean) to fill, Sarah Jayne.

But just who the flip is she again?

Well, allow us to shed some light….

28-year-old Sarah-Jane works mainly on Radio 1Xtra where she has an afternoon slot. She also hosts the Official Chart Show on MTV but really, this is Sarah’s first really big TV gig.

However, previously she has been a guest on shows like Big Brother’s Big mouth and appeared on TV shows for BBC1, BBC3, Channel 4 & E4, Disney Channel UK & ITV2.

In July 2013 she co-hosted the BBC Three coverage of T in the Park festival alongside Greg James.

She is believed to have won Simon Cowell over with her presenting skills and has been rumoured as Caroline’s replacement for a while now.

A source on the show told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Simon Cowell has been bowled over by Sarah-Jane, he thinks she will be brilliant.”

It’s expected that Sarah will present the show on her own and there will be no replacement for Matt Richardson.

The news comes one day after Mel B confirmed she will be replacing Nicole Scherzinger and appear alongside Louis, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole on the judging panel this year.
