We are used to seeing him on our screens as serial womanizer Max Branning, so it is no surprise that Jake Wood looked like he was having a whale of a time as he embraced the Dark Arts.
Joined by the true bad gal of Albert Square, Charlie Brooks, aka Janine Butcher, the pair looked quite at home as they cooked up some potions and picked up some sinister tips from the roaming Deatheaters to pass onto their EastEnder counterparts.
The stars were out in force to celebrate the launch of a sinister new section at Warner Brothers studio, The Making Of Harry Potter’s first permanent addition since opening.
As well as getting to grips with their magic wands, celebs such as Simon Pegg, Conor Maynard, and Jonathan Ross, were able to sip Butterbeer and spooky cocktails, while they got to grips with a very large, and slightly terrifying, real life basilisk.
Erm… Snake… Sorry, we meant snake…
Although it is Jake who is currently taking the country by storm with his impressive snakehips as he competes on Strictly Come Dancing, it was Amanda Holden who the 12ft reptile took a real shine to as he clambered all over her body and onto her head.
How she didn’t cry we will never know.
Despite the fact the REAL special guest of the night appeared to favour the Britain’s Got Talent judge, there was no bad blood between her and EastEnders’ star Jake, as we overheard her complimenting him on his fancy footwork on the BBC show.
We reckon she’s #TeamJake all the way with this one.
Meanwhile, Great British Bake Off LEGEND Mary Berry may have left the infamous BBC tent for 2014, but she couldn’t resist casting a judges eye over the special Halloween spread that was laid out in the Great Hall.
The Hogwarts menu featured everything from carrot cake to special pies, and we think that the wizard catering crew got her final seal of approval.
We wonder if it was Hagrid who walked away as this week’s Star Baker?
TV host Jonathan Ross enjoyed getting up, close, and personal to Lord Voldemort’s most trusted advisors on the brand new Malfoy Manor set, as well as learning a wand trick or two.
Jonathan revealed that he had kept his word following his last visit and brought his entire family along for the magical, Harry Potter fun this time around.
Which only seems fair considering his daughter, Honey, is such a massive fan of the franchise that she has her very own pet snake called Nagini.
Bit harsh you didn’t take her first time round to be honest, Jonathan.
The new Dark Arts section has now officially opened at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.
