Well this is awkward.
It might have only been two short weeks since Judy Murray was booted off Strictly Come Dancing, but that hasn’t stopped Anton Du Beke from immediately speaking out about his experience with the tennis star.
And it’s not all rainbows and smiles like you’d expect.
Yup, despite the fact that Anton seemed to be having more fun than our niece on the teacup ride at Thorpe Park, the 48-year-old has now hit out at his celebrity partner and completely SLAMMED her (lack of) dancing ability.
We’re talking GRAND SLAM here.
During his role as master of ceremonies at the Nordoff Robbins charity boxing match, hosted at London’s Hilton Hotel (nice), Anton spoke out about his experience and less than kind about his ex-Strictly partner.
Speaking to The Daily Mail, a source revealed: “Anton addressed the whole room and said about Judy, ‘She was s**t. Why couldn’t they have given me Pixie Lott?’
“He may have been simply joking and he did have the crowd in stitches but it was clear he was slightly exasperated.”
We wish we could bake a cake made out of rainbows and smiles and we’d all eat it and be happy.
Sorry, we just have a lot of feelings.
ANYWAY, Anton’s harsh comments are a massive u-turn from his thoughts when the pair were voted off the show in Blackpool, after their Viennese Waltz failed to impress just about anyone.
He initially encouraged her, saying: “You are just wonderful. I want you to keep going with dancing wherever you are.”
Cute. He then added: “She’s such a great person. The fun that we had is purely because of her humour. She’s been such a sport… I have had the best time ever.”
Well, we guess he couldn’t express his true feelings live in Blackpool.
Something tells us Anton’s latest comments might upset Judy herself, after she gushed over her Strictly partner for all his help during the competition.
When it was announced that they’d be sadly leaving us, she said: “We got lucky. Anton has been lovely, he’s made my Strictly experience very special.”
Might not be saying that today, Judy.
This is more awkward than an episode of Made in Chelsea, and we’re sort of dreading that bit on the Strictly final where they bring all the voted off couples back.
Just keep your eyes peeled for Andy Murray Anton – we think he might be coming after you with a tennis racket after this!
