Susanna Reid struggled to suppress her thoughts toward David Beckham during an interview with the former footballer.
The 44-year-old Good Morning Britain anchor couldn’t help but swoon over the 39-year-old as she sat down to talk about his new initiative with UNICEF.
Throughout the interview, Susanna was clearly enamored by David, especially when talking candidly about his relationship with son Brooklyn.
Rein it in, Sus!
He told the beaming broadcaster: “He’s at the age now where he does not want me to drop him off outside school. He does not want too much affection but, yes, I still kiss him.
“He said ‘Can you drop me round the corner?’ … As he was walking in to school, I wound down the window and shouted ‘I love you’ to him. He was not happy but it made him smile a few days later.”
David also went on to talk about the rest of his brood, referring to Cruz, 9, as ‘the cheeky one’.
“Without a doubt my children do get sore throats in the morning from time-to-time, especially when there’s certain things happening at school, or their Dad’s going to play some game,” he added.
“They definitely try and get out of school in certain situations.”
David was launching his new ‘7’ initiative, based on his old football shirt number, for the charity, which aims to help children in vulnerable situations around the world.
“They [my children] totally understand that and they all want to get involved,” he explained.
“We all want to protect our children, we all want to protect children in general but you can’t hide things from children and you have to discuss when there are things happening around the world, they hear them so they want to know what’s going on.”
