We still can’t believe it could be getting axed after just a month on air.
Susanna Reid is reportedly mega worried that the failure of Good Morning Britain could seriously jeopardize her future career.
Last week, viewing figures hit an all-time low reaching just 270,000 while in comparison 1.17 million watched Susanna on the show she ditched, ‘BBC Breakfast’.
Still, at least she got a (reportedly huge) £400,000 pay packet.
A source told The Sun: “Susanna is not happy with how things are going as she is the figurehead of the show and fears her name is on the line.”
Super worried ITV bosses are reportedly also scratching their heads asking just how things have managed to get even worse than when Daybreak was on.
And we have to admit, we are pretty much equally mystified.
We have been tuning in and reckon the show is fine – and Susanna is doing an absolutely stunning job.
She is witty, clever, always asking the right questions and never shying away from asking the stuff that need answering. Just see her recent interview with Ed Milliband if you don’t believe us.
Indeed, lots of people are full of praise for Susanna including her former ‘BBC Breakfast’ colleague Bill Turnbull who told The Mirror: “I have had a quick look once or twice at Good Morning Britain. It’s interesting. Susanna is a great presenter and has brought a lot to the programme.”
We don’t think she has anything to worry about – if the show goes under she will surely be almost immediately snapped up elsewhere.
Or if she really wants to save the show then perhaps a knicker flash in in store? worked over on BBC:

Meanwhile, an (in denial) ITV spokesman said: “We are proud of the show and the new format.”
