Taylor Swift has revealed that she has written no less than four songs about her short-lived romance with Harry Styles.
Considering the two were only properly together for around about two months towards the end of 2012, before splitting at the beginning of January last year, that seems like quite an excessive amount of songs about him for one album.
But hey, maybe Harry is just super inspirational and it only takes two months for him to officially become your muse.
This news came to light when Taylor was discussing her rival-popstar diss track, Bad Blood, which has since emerged to be about Katy Perry, in her Rolling Stones interview aka the gift that keeps on giving, and was adamant that everybody knew that the song was about a girl, not a love interest.
The 24-year-old said: “I just want people to know it’s not about a guy. You don’t want to shade someone you used to date and make it seem like you hate him, when that’s not the case.
“And I knew people would immediately be going in one direction – “
YES SHE GENUINELY, ACTUALLY SAID THAT AND THEN STOPPED TALKING.
However it appears to have been accidental as Rolling Stone report that as soon as she realises that she accidentally referenced her ex-boyfriend’s band she buried her face in her hands and cracked up.
It’s all in your sub-conscious, Taylor.
Although Bad Blood is most definitely not about Harry, no matter what direction she thinks that people will be going in, the mag say that it is clear that a whole host of other songs are about him, including ‘I Wish You Would’, which is about a guy who buys a house nearby to her, ‘All You Had To Do Was Stay’ about an ex who doesn’t want to commit, both of which sound very familiar and Rolling Stone say that Taylor strongly implies are about our Harry.
Then, there is the even less subtle track called ‘Style’, about a boy with slicked back hair and a white T-Shirt, which she tells the magazine she should have called ‘I’m Not Even Sorry’ because it is so bloomin’ obvious.
Finally, there is ‘Out Of The Woods’, which interestingly depicts a snowmobile accident which Taylor says was so bad her life flashed before her eyes and they both had to go to ER.
That final one seems slightly odd – how is it possible that two of the most famous people on the planet could have had such a serious accident yet nobody ever found out about it?
Well Taylor’s response to that is: “People think they know the whole narrative of my life, I think maybe that line (in the song) is there to remind people that there are really big things that they don’t know about.”
Okay, fair enough but seriously – not even ONE One Direction update account on Twitter got wind of this accident?
Did it take place on the moon or something??
