Anyways, whilst Kanye was unceremoniously joined on stage by gatecrashing comic, Lee Nelson, things went a lot more smoothly for 25-year-old TayTay, who invited a whole load of her bezzie mates to shake it off with her on stage in front of 65,000 people.
Obviously, being that she is Taylor bloomin’ Swift, the pals in question weren’t your usual acquaintances from primary school and that girl you met that one time when you were both throwing up in the club toilets, oh no, Tay brought out the A-List.
Cara Delevingne kickstarted the festivities as she waved a Union Jack flag as she strutted up and down the catwalk-esque part of the stage, before she was joined by Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, model Martha hunt and, rather bizarrely, Serena Williams.
We mean, she’s a babe and everything, we just didn’t know that she and Tay were mates.
Then again, who isn’t Taylor best mates with these days, eh?
The starlet performed eighteen of her amazing songs during the two hour set, which boasted no less than SEVEN gorge costume changes as the biggest popstar on the planet reminisced about the first time she sold out a 100-people-capacity venue in London all those years ago.
Now, with 65,000 people screaming her name and the support of all of those celeb pals, we think that it’s pretty safe to say that Taylor has done pretty ruddy well for herself.
