I think Mark Wright could actually win The Apprentice. Let me say that again to help you process it, Mark Wright could WIN The Apprentice.
No, not THAT Mark Wright. This other Mark Wright who is more interested in being taken seriously as a businessman than a reality TV star.
Mark really impressed me last night as everything he did was on point.
His negotiation skills were second to none, he charmed guests on his bus tour and all-in-all seemed like a decent bloke.
The same can’t be said about the other candidates or his project manger Daniel.
Price was absolutely critical in this task, I know there was a huge focus on customer service in the episode but profit would be what saw a team win or lose.
I will give Daniel credit for getting the price right, but he got almost everything else wrong.
This was his time to shine and neither him or his competing Project Manager, Sanjay, have stood out for the right reasons over the last FIVE tasks.
They seriously need to get it together.
The Apprentice is really frustrating me because there is such a difference in candidates – Mark, Roisin, Katie and Sex Tape Solomon are in a league of their own.
We know they will get close to the final, it’s just a matter of time before the chaff are weeded out.
We should have had another triple firing this week.
While Lord Sugar was right to fire Jemma, (who?), the others could have easily all gone too.
Stuart Baggs, sorry James Hill, is a disaster, he gets the basics right but his execution is terrible.
Biancas’ sales are equally dreadful, and while I love that Felipe found a sales niche in flirting with foreigners, let’s face it, he won’t win.
Lord Sugar, please sort this mess out… fast.
