The Apprentice 2014 Blog: Roisin And Solomon Should Have Been In The Final…This Series Has Lost Integrity

The Apprentice has officially become a joke. This year’s final is made up of shouty Bianca and cocky Mark. Last year, we had sex pot Luisa and is-she-isn’t- she-a-doctor Leah.

And the year before that we had, um, does anyone remember?

What has happened to the good old days where we had the likes of Ruth Badger, Saira Khan and Kristina Grimes?

I refuse to believe that people with talent aren’t still out there, mainly because we saw the likes of Roisin and Solomon in this year’s series.

I think it’s a total farce that they didn’t make the final. They were clearly the two most competent in the process, it’s a shame their business plans weren’t up to scratch.

In my view, Lord Sugar should look at the business plans beforehand and make sure everyone produces something that he likes. It’s very frustrating as a viewer, and a fan of the show, when the favourites leave.

I also think Roisin got a pretty raw deal in the edit. It was like it was purposely created to justify her not making final.

Having been in the process, I can tell you that the final boardroom would have lasted at least four hours.

I’m sure Roisin had enough about her to justify her business plan, how the products weren’t widely spread, and why hers would be a success… But the producers decided not to include it.

All in all, I’m left very downbeat from this year’s ‘process’. Who will win out of Bianca and Mark? Probably Bianca.

Who cares? Probably nobody.

What have we learned? If you have ten weeks to prove yourself for a job, and don’t, just cry in the interview like Bianca.

If it weren’t for Karren Brady and interviewer Claudine Collins, the business integrity of the show would be zero.
