His comments shocked everyone yesterday.
But now Tom Sizemore has sensationally backtracked on claims he made that Elizabeth Hurley and Bill Clinton had a year-long affair.
The 52-year-old actor told The Huffington Post that the recording which alleged the affair between the actress and former US president were ‘the rantings of a guy… that had severe drug problems’.
He said: “It’s not true. I was never at the White House. I’ve never met Bill Clinton.
“I’m not denying that I said these things. I don’t remember saying them, but it’s an old video tape and they’re the rantings of a guy…that had a very severe drug problem.
“Although I said it, none of it is true.”

The actor admitted that he has not yet spoken to his ex Elizabeth, 48, but apologises for any distress the recording may have caused her.
He added: “I’d like to apologise to her for any hurt or B.S. I caused her or the Clintons or anybody else I may have mentioned.
“I was like a drunk saying that I was going to be on the Challenger next week…. My perceptions were not the greatest.”
The leaked recording, obtained by RadarOnline, Tom could be heard recounting to friends how he set up Bill with Elizabeth before claiming that the then US president once sent a private jet to pick up the actress and later bedded her while his wife Hillary was nearby.
Elizabeth took to Twitter yesterday to deny the claims made, branding them ‘ludicrously silly.’
She wrote: “Ludicrously silly stories about me & Bill Clinton. Totally untrue. In the hands of my lawyers. Yawn.”
