We’ve got some sad news for TOWIE fans, as it’s because reported that Billie Faiers is following in Jessica Wright, Joey Essex, her sister Sam and many others’ footsteps and quitting the reality show.
Billie’s been there since series one, and her departure would leave only James ‘Arg’ Argent, Lauren Pope and Nanny Pat as the only original cast members.
DON’T GO, BABES.
The gorgeous long-standing cast member, who’s usually on hand to give stellar advice and make us coo over her adorable daughter Nelly, is reportedly planning to leave the show after the current (fifteenth) series.
A source told The Sun: “There’s no bad feeling, Billie’s just been there since series one and feels she’s done her time. Just like her sister Sam, she’s outgrown the show.”
They went on to hint that Billie and Sam might want to focus on their potential Kardashians-style reality show instead, adding: “They have their business Minnies Boutique, they’re both loved-up, and Billie has Nelly.
“They’ve got enough going on to have their own show.”
We’ll definitely miss having the mumma on the show! Although we are VERY much looking forward to Keeping Up With The Faiers.
Mainly because it gives us more of an excuse to spend all of Sunday scoffing crisps on the sofa. Obviously.
Speaking to MailOnline as Malibu launched their Best Summer Ever campaign earlier this month, she revealed: “I would love us to have our own family show – a bit like the Kardashians.
“There are talks about it so hopefully. You never know. We’re hoping for next year.”
She continued: “Other than the Kardashians in the U.S, have we had anything like this in England with a family over the last five years?
“Sam will be in it. My mum and dad – that’s a whole drama in itself. I’m not going to lie, I just think we are quite a mad interesting family. There’s always drama – there’s always an argument.”
The 25-year-old, who’s mum to gorgeous little Nellie, also admitted that this show will be less loosely scripted like TOWIE, and that she wants it to be more of a “fly on the wall” look at her life.
“If we had our own show I feel I’d be a lot more like myself. I’d just be me,” she added.
“We do pop up shops and behind the scenes it is just mad. There’s always crazy things going on and we always find ourselves saying ‘If only the cameras were here now’. So hopefully there could be something.”
We cannot WAIT to see this!
