Tulisa Contostavlos has firmly launched her career comeback with single, Living Without You, but she has revealed she couldn’t have got through the past year without Niall Horan’s help.
The former X Factor judge has disclosed that when things were falling apart in the wake of her drugs supply scandal the One Direction heart-throb was a bastion of support in the hard times.
Because, let’s face-it, we all need a rock when things go wrong.
Speaking of her relationship with the Irish singer, Tulisa said: “Niall is a good friend.”
In a recent interview with Grazia 26-year-old Tulisa admitted that her fiercely independent nature prevented her from seeking comfort with many people, and instead she only turned to a small and very select group of friends.
And, Niall was of course there to help her when she needed it, as she said: “He would come and cheer me up and check I was alright.
“I didn’t turn to my family so much. Everyone was so upset and destroyed by it. In emotional situations, my way of dealing is to push everyone away.”
Tulisa has admitted that there were moment when she couldn’t see anyway out of the bad times, and only her spirit and belief helped her through those patches.
As she frankly stated: “You have to break yourself down to rebuild yourself stronger. Hope was the only thing that kept me going.”
Clearly Niall and her other friend’s support has helped her, as Tulisa looked stylish and in good spirits as she was papped with some of her fans in Manchester – she even took the time to nab a selfie with some of them.
And, while her single Living Without You might not be everyone’s cup-of-tea, the former N-Dubz star has certainly proved in the video that she’s back, and firmly in charge as her persona the female boss.
